What time do I need to arrive for my timed ticket?

Please arrive within the first 20 minutes of your purchased slot as we recommend arriving 20 minutes before the half hour time-slot you purchased (i.e. Arrive at 3:10 PM for a 3:30 - 4:00 PM Ticket) and no later than 20 minutes after the beginning of your time slot (I.e. No later than 3:50 PM for a 3:30-4:00 PM Ticket). Note your ticket is only valid for the date and time purchased. If you miss your time-slot your ticket is no longer valid.

Can I exhange my ticket?

All tickets are all final sale.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

All tickets are final and non-transferable

What If I purchased a ticket and I didn’t receive an email confirmation?

If a customer claims to have not received their ETicket, they may call AXS at 888-9-AXS-TIX (888.929.7849).
For Groups of 9 Tickets or more, please contact the AXS Call Center at 888-9-AXS-TIX (888.929.7849) and they can assist you with your purchase. Please note we do not offer a group discount.

What if there is only 1 ticket available in my time-slot of choice?

Our website gets updated live as ticket sales occur so that means we cannot accommodate more than 1 person at a time.

I bought multiple tickets and all are under my name. How can I make sure my guests can get in?

As long as you are present with your valid ID, your guests will have no issues entering Happy Place.

When will I receive my tickets via email?

You should receive your tickets shortly after your purchase. Please check your Junk/Spam mailbox as your tickets may have gotten sent there.

Do I get food/drinks with my ticket?

There will be treats and refreshments throughout the exhibit which are included with your ticket.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. All you need is your smart phone/ tablet. You must present your ticket on your phone/ tablet with a valid ID. One ID must match to the purchaser or to a single registered name

Do you refund tickets or change ticket times?

All tickets are all final sale.

What if I don't have the names of my guests?

Only purchaser’s name needs to match their ID. All tickets can be under one name. Only purchaser needs to be present to collect tickets.

What if the rest of my party arrives at a different time?

You can check in for the party if tickets are under your name but they need to arrive within the first 20 minutes of your purchased slot so you can start and finish your Happy Place experience together. Trust us, it’s more fun that way!

Will I have enough time with my allocated time to finish the experience?

Yes. We’ve made sure the time slot allocated to you is enough to fully experience Happy Place.

Are there children and senior discounts?

Only children 4 and under can come in free of charge.

Do you have gift cards?

We are not offering gift cards.

Do you offer group discounts?

We do not offer group discounts.

If I arrive at 9:50PM for my 9:30-10:00PM slot, would I be able to finish the experience?

Yes!!! Happy Place will stay open to ensure you get the full experience. For anyone attending the final session of any evening, please be aware Happy Place closes one hour after the last group of visitors begin their visit.

I am one of the purchasers affected by the closure of your Arts District location and have yet to receive a refund. What should I do?

For December 14th at 3:30pm thru January 7th, please contact with your inquiry and confirmation number.
For January 8th thru February 25th, please contact with your inquiry and confirmation number.

Is photography allowed?

It is encouraged! DSLR cameras are allowed in Happy Place. Please note that tripods and selfie sticks are not allowed. Our staff is happy to help take pictures throughout the exhibit. If you are a member of the press, please contact to make prior arrangements.

How long will it take to experience happy place?

Approximately 1 hour.

Is the pot of happiness/ confetti room clean?

Yes, we specially clean all our Happy Smiles and replace our Confetti on a regular basis.

Can I go through the exhibit twice?

Unfortunately, we do not allow re-entry to make sure everyone gets to experience Happy Place during their allotted time.

Is happy place wheelchair accessible?


Where should we park?

Paid parking available at different garages at L.A. LIVE. There will be plenty of public parking in surrounding areas.

Are pets allowed at happy place?

At this time, we can only allow for service animals. Must be on a leash.

Are strollers allowed at happy place?

Strollers are not allowed. We ask you to kindly leave them in your car / at home since we cannot store them for you.

What is the age limit?

If you are old enough to smile, you belong inside. We want this to be a happy experience for all so we are welcoming children 4 and under in free of charge!

Can minors go alone?

Minors under the age of 16 will need to be supervised by an adult.

Do you have a bathroom?

Yes. Bathrooms are located at the Event Deck at L.A. LIVE.

What should I leave at home?

We do encourage you to leave oversized items/ bags at home so you can freely experience Happy Place. Backpacks, selfie sticks, tripods, large umbrellas, strollers and weapons of any kind are prohibited. Although Photography is VERY MUCH encouraged, all professional video equipment is prohibited without advance approval from Happy Place. Contact What else to leave at home? What should I bring?

Your phone for proof of ticket and to take multiple selfies to share on your socials.

Yes!! Please come visit the gift shop onsite to check out all of our happy themed merchandise!

Our Happy Place Shop accepts all major debit/ credit cards and Apple Pay. No cash or Gift Cards, sorry!

Can we bring food/drinks?

Unfortunately not but there are plenty of treats included with your ticket and you’ll have the option to visit our Happy Food Truck!

Do you support local and community charities?

Of course! Net proceeds from our Happy Lemonade Stand is donated to various carefully selected charities. Additionally, we are always hosting groups of under privileged citizens in association with different local organizations. That said, we are happy to find new ways to give back to the community.
